When I lived in Raleigh (Brier Creek area), I used to walk or run a trail at Umstead Park at least 4 times a week. I’d take my pup, Ruby, and we’d just frolic and play! I dearly miss good ol’ Umstead. It’s a great place to spend an afternoon or an evening after work! But yes, be sure to get there with plenty of daylight left.
